Beginners
This is a progressive course with emphasis on conversation and culture for those without any knowledge of Spanish. Each term is thematic and you will learn different topics. You will learn about asking and giving personal information, describing where you live, describing daily routines, what you do after work, clubs, sports, etc. You will learn about the phonetic sounds and the present tense grammatical structures: regular and irregular verbs, radical changing verbs and reflexive verbs.

There are 4 levels to be completed in 4 terms of 1 hour lessons.

Beginners+
This is a progressive course with emphasis on conversation and culture for those with at least one year's knowledge of Spanish and being familiar with the present tense grammatical structures. At the end of this course students will achieve the equivalent of the GCSE foundation tier. You will learn about the future and past tenses with many different topics:  Holidays, spare time, describing a day out, talking about experiences, food, restaurants, relationships, personalities, incidents and accidents, etc
.

There are 4 levels to be completed in 4 terms of 1 hour lessons.
Entry requirements: Written test <here> and oral test over the telephone.

Intermediate
This is a progressive course with emphasis on conversation and culture for those with a good understanding of the Spanish grammatical structures; present, past, future and conditional. Students must have at least two years' experience learning the language. This course is ideal for those wanting to refresh their conversational skills. At the end of this course students will achieve the equivalent of the GCSE higher tier. You will learn about work experience, part time jobs, describing and talking about films, technology, shopping habits, health and environment, etc.

There are 8 levels to be completed in 8 terms of 1 hour lessons.
Entry requirements: Written test <here> and oral test over the telephone.


Advanced
This is a progressive course with emphasis on conversation and culture for those who have completed the previous courses or have studied Spanish for at least four or five years. At the end of this course students will achieve the equivalent of AS level. At this level, students are able to describe and discuss many modern topics such as; the role of women at work and at home, feminism, chauvinism, society and gay marriage. Positive and negative influence of singers, musicians, politicians in our society, the national and local identity in Spain, South America and England, etc.

There are 8 levels to be completed in 8 terms of 1 hour lessons.
Entry requirements: Written test <here> and oral test over the telephone.


Summer Intensive (1 week) Courses

These courses are ideal for adults who are studying Spanish and are having difficulties with remembering the Spanish grammar: conjugation of verbs, grammatical rules and the application of these rules with different topics.

Course Fees and Payments
There is no registration fee and each course consists of a block of 11 or 12 lessons. Payments by bank transfer. Fess per child attending one class per week.
